Looking forward
I've been having more Internet access than expected during the past few days but as some travelling lies ahead that may change. I thought I'd list a plan of sorts for the next couple of weeks.
Tomorrow: go to Shanghai. I'm not totally sure what to do besides shopping and bridge walking but finding things to do will most likely prove an easy task.
Next week: go to Beijing. See the famous tourist spots and all that. Will probably stay for about a week.
Returning south I'll definitely visit some other cities in Jiangsu province, such as Wuxi with its giant Buddha statue. I just can't get enough of giant Buddha statues. The previously mentioned Hangzhou trip might take place within this timeframe. My first post was about going to Lushan but that's not going to happen, nine hours in a bus just doesn't cut it as far as entertainment goes.
One last thing, regarding the heat. I've been enjoying some really good soft drinks and ice cream lately, making the whole ordeal considerably more tolerable. I just don't understand why Chinese find frozen salt water popsicles so delicious...
